چکیده
MADS-box gene family plays an important role in the molecular regulatory network of flower development. APETALA1 (AP1), a gene, development organs. Although many studies about genes have been reported, function AP1 is still not clear cotton. In this study, GhAP1.7 (Gh_D03G0922), candidate for cotton time and plant height obtained from our previous studies, was cloned CCRI50 variety functionally characterized. Subcellular localization demonstrated that located nucleus. Infection test Arabidopsis revealed could cause precocious flowering virus-induced silence (VIGS) assay lead to delayed plants. Yeast one-hybrid assays transient dual-luciferase suggested floral meristem identity control LEAFY (LFY) can bind promoter negatively regulate it. Our research indicated might work as positive regulator flowering. Moreover, may regulated by GhLFY pathways. This laid foundation subsequent functional GhAP1.7.

QTL analysis for early-maturing traits in cotton using two upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) crosses
Making use of the markers linked closely to QTL for early-maturing traits for MAS (Marker-assisted selection) is an effective method for the simultaneous improvement of early maturity and other properties in cotton. In this study, two F2 populations and their F2:3 families were generated from the two upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) crosses, Baimian2 × TM-1 and Baimian2 × CIR12. QTL for ea...

GhABF2, a bZIP transcription factor, confers drought and salinity tolerance in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
The bZIP transcription factor (TF) act as an important regulator for the abscisic acid (ABA) mediated abiotic stresses signaling pathways in plants. Here, we reported the cloning and characterization of GhABF2, encoding for typical cotton bZIP TF. Overexpression of GhABF2 significantly improved drought and salt stress tolerance both in Arabidopsis and cotton. However, silencing of GhABF2 made t...
متن کاملIn Vitro Cadmium-Induced Alterations in Growth and Oxidative Metabolism of Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic pollutant, which cause both dose- and time-dependent physiological and biochemical alterations in plants. The present in vitro study was undertaken to explore Cd-induced physiological and biochemical changes in cotton callus culture at 0, 550, 700, 850, and 1000 μM Cd for four different stress periods (7, 14, 21, and 28 days). At 1000 μM Cd, mean growth values were lower...
متن کاملMining and Analysis of SNP in Response to Salinity Stress in Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
Salinity stress is a major abiotic factor that affects crop output, and as a pioneer crop in saline and alkaline land, salt tolerance study of cotton is particularly important. In our experiment, four salt-tolerance varieties with different salt tolerance indexes including CRI35 (65.04%), Kanghuanwei164 (56.19%), Zhong9807 (55.20%) and CRI44 (50.50%), as well as four salt-sensitive cotton varie...
